At CAE, as a Senior Modeller, I worked on many different projects. Here's the most significant;
The MIG project is a jet simulator using CAE’s FOHMD (fibre-optic head mounted display) and developed for the Malaysian Army. As the key training element, I designed, developed and integrated the ownship cockpit mask, the first air-to-air refuelling training simulator including tanker aircraft (KC130), refuelling probe, hose and refuelling mechanism. I also developed all pilots related flying aid-tools such as the HUD and eye inset (no images available).
The Blackhawk is a standard projector-based flight simulator with synchronized head-mounted display for night vision developed for the Australian Army for 240M$. As a Senior Modeller I designed, documented and presented all the moving models to the clients. As the key training element, I designed, developed and integrated the ownship cockpit mask, virtual co-pilot and simulated the NVG malfunctions for emergency situation (no images available).
